Jason's family has been selling shaved ice for 20 years in his hometown, Corvallis. The family business is called Jason's Tropical Sno. It has become a fun tradition for Corvallis and it seems the whole town gets excited every summer to have shaved ice at the park. One would think that the syrup was spiked or something because the customers will wait in long lines, rain or shine, just to get their daily dose of shaved ice. I can't complain, though. I have had a blast taking my turn selling shaved ice this summer. My kids have loved playing at the park, the high school track, baseball fields, swimming pools and soccer fields while I have sold shaved ice at different events...and they LOVE the unlimited quantities of shaved ice that they have consumed all summer!
This is my home away from home. I just painted it, doesn't it look great?
Madison loves to try all the different flavors. The more flavors, the better.
Brody's favorite shaved ice is grape and green apple...gotta keep it in stock for him or you know there will be trouble!
The kids have been so good all summer as I drag them from place to place to sell shaved ice. I think they are having a great summer.
Here we are in action. We look all serious, but we are having fun.
Doesn't this picture make you want one too??
Warwick loves whatever kind you give him as long as you don't try to take a bite!

That is so funny, because we just went an hour ago for a family night treat. Christian and I were discussing how great it would be when our kids are teenagers, to have one so they could all have a job. I also did this when I was a teenager. My favorite is banana.
My kids would LOVE YOUR SUMMER. Could you franchise to us? What a great family tradition! I love how the kids personalities come through in their choice of flavors. I'm totally with Madison... lots of flavors, but definitely a lot of tiger's blood.
