We miss Madison while she is at school ALL day! These are pictures of us patiently waiting in the front yard for our favorite girl to come home!

BYU vs. UW

A bunch of my siblings met up for the weekend in Seattle for the BYU vs. UW football game. It was fun to go in such a big group. It was an exciting and close game. BYU won 28-27. UW almost tied it up with seconds left in the game, but luckily they were unsuccessful. GO BYU!
Here is part of our entourage before the game in Scott's front yard.
Brady and Blake on the bus. These two are identical, but as you can see Brady(right) got all the brains.
Amelia, Keri, Emily (my smokin' hot sister-in-laws)
The Bullock Gang. The group includes my brothers (Scott, Dave, John, Mark), my brother-in-law (Bruce), my sister-in-laws (Keri, Amelia, Emily), my nephews (Jake, Brady, Blake), Jason and I. Missing from the Bullock clan get together: my parents, my sisters (Lori, Kelly), brother -in-law (Derek), my sister-in-law (Suzi) and the rest of the wild grandchildren.
Walking through all the UW fans to get to the game. Go Cougars!
Jason was so excited to FINALLY pull this flag out and wave it proudly at the game. Too bad it got confiscated before entering the stadium. I guess they were worried that he might get rowdy with the flag pole and use it as a weapon when fighting with the UW fans.
View from our seats at Husky Stadium

My kids had a great time playing with the Lewis' while we were at the game. If you want to check out what they did during the game, visit http://jakeandvickilewis.blogspot.com/.
They also had the best time getting to know their cousins. They played all weekend with
Trey (3), Warren (1), Kelly (4), Jake (9), Owen (1), Jamie (19), Kacie (15), Brady & Blake (15). We swam in the lake, rode bikes, raced in Lightning McQueen, played b-ball, went on walks, played in the sand, threw rocks in the lake, canoed, jumped on the water trampoline, relaxed, watched lots of football on TV, went out to dinner, and ate lots of food-including Kacie's out-of-this-world chocolate/butterscotch cookies & shaved ice!

Madison's favorite part of the weekend was her makeover. Jamie was so nice and gave Madison a makeover and a photoshoot. I swear the makeover transformed Madison into a 16 year old. It was freaking me out how old she looked and how old she suddenly acted!

Here are the photos, doesn't she look pretty? Trey wanted a part of the action. Look how cute he is copying her as she poses for Jamie!

Trey and Brody. Brody hasn't stopped talking about Trey since we got home. He and Trey rode bikes, raced up and down the driveway in Lightning McQueen, played with cars and played basketball. Trey is amazingly good at basketball - Brody had fun catching basketball fever from him.
More beauty shots. Here is Madison and Kelly. Kelly had a makeover, too.
Madison requested this pose. Isn't that funny? Jamie is good at this. I told her she should be a photographer.
This is my favorite. I love the bare feet and the skirt. She looks so sweet.
Thanks, Jamie! You made her day. She keeps begging me to make Jamie her big sister!

Mark & Emily

My brother, Mark, and his wife, Emily, came for a few days and it was GREAT! They have 2 cute kids named Kelly and Owen and they brought their ultra amazing babysitter, Katie. We spent a lot of time at the park and taking the kids on walks through the nature trails by our house. It had been 3 years since I had seen them last, so it was extra fun to spend time with them.
Kelly is 4 and was a great playmate for Madison. Emily teaching the kids a thing or two about soccer. I think they had more fun watching Emily score on Katie than actually playing themselves.
Brody polishing his skills.
Warwick liked throwing the ball more than kicking. Must be the wrong sport for him!
Gotta love that tongue!
Wild Warwick - I swear he is going to kill himself with all the wild stunts he tries to pull!
Brody begs to go to this playground everyday. He loves the slide.
Emily and Baby Owen. Owen is the calmest baby ever.
Kelly and Katie. I am still trying to figure out how I can clone Katie. She is too perfect.
I am predicting Kelly is going to be a gymnast OR on American Idol. She has crazy monkey bar skills and can sing out of this world.

I haven't been the best blogger all summer, so here is a glimpse of some of our summer highlights.
Brody playing alongside the Mckenzi River. We camped here for 2 nights. Brody loved it. He played in the dirt, played in the water, collected sticks, roasted marshmellows and loved exploring all the trails.
Here is the Mckenzi River. Isn't it pretty? It was a beautiful place with amazingly beautiful trails and waterfalls. We spent an afternoon at Clear Lake and it was inviting..too bad it was ice cold. It was a great camping trip, even if Warwick woke up at the crack of dawn running through our campsite growling at all the chipmunks. AND we managed to escape injury free - I kept waiting for one of the kids to take a nose-dive into the campfire.
Madison lounging by the river. Her favorite part was probably collecting leaves and hiking. It definitely wasn't the big nice dog that scared the living daylights out of her while hiking on the nice pretty trail!
Nye Beach in Newport. An abnormally beautiful day at the Oregon Coast. Amazing!
Lake Oswego. A childhood favorite of mine! This picture actually cracks me up. Look at those cute little euro swim trunks on my boys!
Brody's new best friend, Cubby. You never would have guessed that he was terrified of Cubby when they first met. I think it is extra cool that they share the same shade of strawberry blonde hair!
Madison at the park
My boys.

Hauling hay. Farm boys are definitely cool.
Me and my boys strolling along the beach.
Brody and Warwick LOVED the sand. I still can't get over what a great day we had.
Warwick swimming in the sand.
My studly man

Anybody who knows us well knows that we really like to run. So, isn't only appropriate that I post a blog on our summer running??
Here is Jason leading the race on his home turf - Philomath High School

Madison has run in track meets, road races and cross country meets this summer. She seems to have fun and has a fierce little race face, but I think the motivating factor is always the ribbon at the end of the race! Here she is finishing a 1k.

Madison was the top girl finisher in the 5oo meters. Way to go, Madison!

Jason and I at the start of a 5K. I made a summer goal to break 20 minutes in the 5K. This race I had a crew of CV cross country runners and Jason trying to pace me through. But, I went home disappointed...22 seconds too slow! Luckily, the next week I finally did it...19:38. Now I never have to run a 5k again!

Doesn't this look cool? Running in Oregon is the best. Beautiful trails everywhere!

Flower Favorites

I just thought I would share some pictures of the flowers that I have growing in the yard. I really love a yard full of pretty flowers.
Mophead Hydrangeas-'Nikko Blue'
Lacecap Hydrangeas- I really like how delicate these look.

Cosmos and Black-Eyed Susans- Cosmos are among my favorites this year. They are bright and beautiful. I love their fine leaves-so pretty!

Geraniums- These have always been one of my top picks. I love the shape of the leaves and the bright flowers. My all-time favorite geranium is the trailing geranium.

Black-Eyed Susan- I love the color of this flower!
