Ultimate Frisbee

Jason and I finally found a sport that men and women can play together...ultimate frisbee! We have had a blast playing on a team together here called Freakshow. It is a serious sport here! We practice every Thursday evening and Saturday mornings. It has been so fun to do together! Our kids are our biggest fans. They watch every practice and wait patiently for us to finish so they can run wild on the nearby playground.
Can you spot us?? We are near the back on the right!

After 3 hours of practice, we are still smiling!

Warwick loves all the attention he gets from the team!

Go Comets!

After 10 years of gathering dust, I finally pulled out my basketball shoes and joined a basketball team here in Singapore. I had forgotten how fun basketball is and how great it is to be a part of a team! It was awesome to hear Brody and Madison cheering for me and waving at me before I shot free-throws!

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Siem Reap, Cambodia is one of my all-time favorite places I have visited so far. We went with Jason's mom and the Nunos. The kids had a great time exploring all the temple ruins...climbing, hiding and getting lost in them! The ruins were pretty amazing. As you can see by the photos, the living conditions aren't the greatest for most people in Cambodia. Little kids run around naked...no money for diapers. It was hard to see this kind of poverty. It made you want to help everyone and made you feel guilty for all that we do have. But, the trip was worth it when at the end of a long day in Siem Reap, a sleepy Madison said, "Mommy, I think we need to thank Heavenly Father extra tonight for all our blessings."
